I wasn't taught about real world money. My parents gave me a purple box when I was younger that had three sections to put money into. One for Rainy Day Savings, one for Savings toward a specific goal, and one for "free" money that I can spend as impulsively as I desire.

This is not enough to get me through today. Today requires budgets and never-ending monthly payments.

I'm preparing for my trip to Japan. It's probably two years off yet (maybe 3-- I'd be turning 29). ... I still want to go back to Australia and spend a few months in Europe.

Writing. I have ideas and stories swirling in my head. It is time to put them to "paper".
