We do have to find a way to take comfort in the little things. Yes, I feel life is inherently meaningless. If that makes me an existentialist then so be it. That label doesn't change anything, though. If we could get rid of all of those labels which really only serve to separate and distinguish one from the other. But every single person in the world is different. Whether it's their beliefs, or their temperament, or how many siblings they have, or their sexual preference... we're all different. Every single one of us. A unique combination of everything we can be? Something like that.
I don't have it all figured out. I may never have it all figured out. But the fact remains that we're here, and we are conscious beings. And with that consciousness we can do great things. So life isn't about anything but living.
And whatever else we decide to make our personal life about.
